Christmas Bead Ornaments
You will need:
- Tinsel pipe cleaners - 1 long, 1 short.
- Metal-colored plastic pony beads - 20 to 24.
- Pliers.
- Jingle bells.
Directions :
- Pass all the beads through the long pipe cleaner.
- Using pliers, or simply by hand, twist the pipe cleaner to form a circle.
- Use the pliers to entwine the two ends of the pipe cleaner with each
other.
- Add the jingle bells to the circle.
- Pass the short pipe cleaner through the circle and twine its two ends.
You have a little circle passing through the bigger one. Now use this to
hang your beaded ornament.

Christmas Stocking Craft
You will need:
- Felt (of any color you like)
- Pencil/Pen
- Scissors
- Glue
- A puncher
- A long piece of yarn
- Markers/crayons
Directions:
- Fold the felt into two pieces. Draw the outline of a stocking on one
surface of the felt.
- Using the outline, cut out two similar stocking shapes off the felt.
- Attach the two stockings together around the side edges with glue. See
that you do not put any glue along the top opening.
- Punch holes at little intervals around the glued edges of the stocking.
- Pass the yarn through all the holes to get a loop at one end. Tie the
loop in a knot.
- Your Christmas stocking craft is ready. Now decorate it with
markers/crayons, glitters, small stars or whatever you like. Hang it from
your mantle and stuff it with Christmas goodies.

Glitter Bells
You will need:
- Glitters (of various colors)
- Plastic food wrap
- A large piece of cardboard
- A bottle of white glue
- Yarn/string (optional)
Directions:
- Using tape, attach the plastic food wrap to the cardboard piece. Smoothen
it with your hands.
- Draw the outline of small bell shapes on the food wrap with glue. Fill
these shapes with glue. Take care that the glue does not spill over outside
the bell shapes.
- If you want to hang your bell (most probably you do), attach one end of a
yarn/string to the top of the glue bell. Now sprinkle the glue bell with
glitter. See that you cover all parts of the exposed surface of the bell.
Make similar glitter bells.
- Allow the glue to dry for a day or more. Then carefully take out the
plastic wrap from the back of the bells.
- Now hang your glittering bells on doors and windows as decorations.

Jingle Bell Door Hanger
You will need:
- Metal Jingle Bells - 12 - 15, each of about 15-20 mm size.
- A piece of heavy gauge wire.
- Wire cutter - 1.
- Pliers - 1.
- Ribbons - 4 - 5 pieces.
- 1 metal key ring.
Directions:
- Cut about 12 inch from the gauge wire using the wire cutter you have.
- Wrap one end of the wire around the key ring with pliers. Twine the wire
one or two times. This will help you to hang the bell on your door.
- String the jingle bells along the length of the wire, leaving some space
at the end to form a secure loop. Tie the ribbon pieces to the loop and curl
them.
- Your Jingle Bell Door Hanger is ready! Now dangle it from your door and
usher in Christmas.

Paper Mache Reindeer
You will need:
- 10 newspapers
- Water base Paint
- Brushes
- Buttons
- Pipecleaner
- Small Pom Pom
- Masking Tape
- Glue
- Sealer
Directions:
- Tear the newspapers into small strips.
- Immerse the strips completely in a medium sized container with 3/4 parts
glue & 1/4 parts water. Rub them together to prepare a paper mache paste.
- Use one whole paper towel roll to form the back of the reindeer. Cut one
whole paper towel roll into four pieces of equal size. These four parts will
make the front and the hind legs of your reindeer.
- Use glue to attach the legs to the lower surface of the reindeer. Hold
them together with masking tape. All the legs must stand evenly on the
table.
- Cut the "neck" and "head" of the reindeer out of the remaining paper
towel roll. Make a hole in the paper roll that forms the back of the
reindeer. Insert the "neck" into the hole. Make a similar hole in the "neck"
to put in the "head" of the reindeer. Use masking tape to hold these in
place.
- The rough structure of your reindeer is ready. Now cover it with the
paper mache paste. See that no area of its surface remains exposed. Use your
hands to mold the shape well so that it resembles a reindeer.
- Let the paper paste dry for several hours or overnight.
- When it dries, paint the reindeer in any color you like. Allow the paint
to dry.
- Now glue the buttons in place of eyes. Attach the pom pom for the nose.
Make a small hole in the "head" of the reindeer. Set the pipecleaner through
it to make the antlers.
- Your Paper Mache Reindeer craft is ready. You can present it as a
Christmas gift to anyone you like.

Rose Greetings Card
Materials needed:
- Tissue paper - 11 (2 of each of the colors red, pink, lavender, purple
and white). 1 of green color.
- One long green pipe cleaner.
- Glitter/glitter glue.
- A pair of scissors.
- Glue.
- Construction Paper - 1 piece, of red color (or any color you like).
Directions:
- Stack several layers of tissue paper to give your rose a fuller
appearance. Alternate the colors of the papers in the stack. This will give
the rose will have a more natural, varicolored appearance.
- Cut the stack in a rectangle (of dimensions 5 X 7 inches).
- Fold the rectangular paper stack lengthwise like a fan or accordion. Make
sure that the folds are less than an inch in width.
- Put the tissue paper fan on the center of the green pipe cleaner. Twist
the cleaner around the middle of the tissue paper. Go on twisting the
cleaner until you reach the end. You now have a stem for your tissue paper
rose. Pull out some small thorn-like shapes if you want.
- Separate the individual tissue papers, separating and ruffling them. Do
this on both sides, and arrange the tissue paper with your fingers.
- Create some leaves out of the green tissue paper. Glue them to the stem.
- Decorate your paper rose with glitter or glitter glue.
- Now fold the construction paper you have into equal halves. Attach the
rose onto one of the outer surfaces of the folded piece of construction
paper. You now have a great Christmas Rose Greetings Card. Gift it to a
loved one.
NOTE: Rose being the common flower of greeting, you can use this
greetings card for any festive season. Go to top

Shining Star
You will need:
- A clean aluminium plate
- A marker
- Scissors
- A puncher
- String or yarn
Directions:
- Using the marker at your disposal, draw the outline of a star on the
clean aluminum plate you have.
- Cut the design out.
- Punch a large hole on one of the protruded ends of the star.
- Pass a string or yarn through this hole. Tie the ends of the string/yarn
together in a knot.
- Your shining star is ready. Now make similar shapes and hang them from
any place indoors to make glittering Christmas decorations.
