Its that time of the year again

Its that time of the year again
Jingles, laughter, parties and celebration.
To wish someone dear and close,
Miss someone the heart yearns,
To Remember to Good old times, fun we had,
Its that time of the year again.

Its that time of the year again,
When we dance, sing and party,
And get the best decorations on the tree
Its that time of the year again,
When Santa rules everyone's thoughts,
And you; mine.

Do you know it's Christmas,

Do you know it's Christmas,
A Little after Thanksgiving
And a shade before New Year,
A Day of triumphant light and love,
Love ~ the feeling you and I share, and
Light ~ it has brought to our lives.
This Christmas is very special !
I have been granted my secret wish
I have your lovely company.

The good old days

Remember the good old days we spent
Snowballs, your face, and the gifts.
Laughers, tid-bits
Those long hours waiting for Santa,
And the gifts He left for us
Merry-making, friends, and the Church
Remembering the good old days, and an old friend like you
In the best of spirit
And wish you a very happy Christmas!

Christmas time

Its Christmas time again
The season of renewal
Love, faith, charity
And all that is beautiful
Chimes greatly in to every heart
Beating in celebrations
Of Spirit, togetherness, and affirmation.

Christmas Poems by LMWillson [lmwillson_at_aol.com]

It was a silent night in Bethlehem,
When Christ our King was born,
While shepherds watched their sheep,
On that very early morn.

A brilliant star was shining,
Upon that sacred shrine,
Of the Holy Family kneeling,
Beside the manger of God Divine.

The shepherds followed this radiant star,
Of royal beauty bright,
And listened to the angels sing,
While praising God all through the night.

Hosanna in the highest,
Unto Him all nations sing,
Christ our Saviour is born this night,
\'Tis Christ our Saviour King.

The radiance of His being,
Will shine through all our lives,
And crush the sins of all mankind,
Upon which all evil thrives.

Oh Blessed Child of Mary,
To whom all the world will bow,
\'Tis God\'s Son - The only One,
To this our God forever will avow.

Oh loving Saviour of mankind,
The souls of man both then and now,
Will sing Your praises forever,
And unto You all knees will bow.

Each year we\'ll celebrate Your birth,
To please our God our King,
And pray You will come again,
So peace to this world You\'ll bring.

Christmas Adam

Twas' two days before Christmas
and all through Aunt Ova's house,
all happiness ran amuck
for such a clatter did arouse.

Uncle Robert reads the paper
and the rest watch TV.
The ladies are in the kitchen.
It's all tradition you see.

Oh yeah, the men do some work too
as we put up some window blinds.
But there are football games on
and the cooks now seem to pay no mind.

Yet today has special meaning
in this grateful happy family.
One created by a member
just as simple as can be.

Like Adam before Eve
one tradition is now borrowed.
Christmas Adam is today.
Christmas Eve comes soon tomorrow.

They say Aunt Beth is the installer
of this new holiday.
Because of her we have plenty more
to enjoy until Christmas Day.

Snow On The Cactus

Snow in Texas Canyon.
Snow in the Dragoon Mountains.
Near Cochise and Geronimo's Stronghold;
Snow on Triangle T Ranch.

Snow on the cactus.
Snow on the pine trees.
Snow on the big rocks.
Snow at the very end of March.

Come to sunny Arizona. Ha!
...Though not really complaining.
I just wasn't ready to see
snow on the cactus.

Cherish His Christmas

Christmas brings such a time of love
Each tender heart holds so much of
Unselfishness thrives, trust is strong
The purpose to give, send love along.

A time of pleasantries, patience too
Good wishes to all, all feelings true
Thankfulness follows each fine deed
Gifts from our God, never from greed.

Great the rewards that joy does bring
Like the beauty in hearing angels sing
We pray for our loved, each so dear
Especially those who can't be near.

Many leave home to bravely serve
All freedoms we have, they preserve
Do pray for our troops, as we should
And their families too, if you would.

Give thanks to our Lord, His only Son
And cherish His Christmas, everyone.
