Make some grand heart or
star shaped rings and wear it with your sweetheart or friends together
for the valentines day. A easy but attractive craft to make for celebration
of love. Just follow the simple pictorial guide and surprise everyone,
with these little nothings. You can also make them, stuff them in the
love treasure chest, and then gift it. It would be a smashing one, with
romanticism guaranteed.
You will need: Salt
dough (click to 4 instructions on how to prepare it); Varnish; Baking
tray; PVA glue; Metal ring attachments; Parchment paper; Oven gloves;
Fine sandpaper; Cooling rack; Paintbrush; Acrylic paints; Modeling tool,
Rolling pin.

Roll
out a piece of salt dough 1cm thick. Place the heart and star templates
on the dough and cut around them. Place the shapes on a baking tray lined
with parchment paper and bake them for about four hours at 120 degree C,
or 250 degree F/Gas 1/2. |
| When the
shapes have hardened, remove the try from the oven (using oven gloves) and
transfer them to a cooling rack. Once they have cooled, smooth rough edges
with sandpaper before painting your rings. When dry, apply a coat of varnish. |

Glue a ring attachment
on to the back of each shape and leave the glue to dry before trying on
the rings. |
