Natural ways of facial hair removal for women

Key ingredients:

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 lemon juice
  • Flour/Powder
  • Cotton strips

Method

  1. Blend 1/2 cup water, 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup lemon juice in a container and stir slowly over light heat. Stir the mixture mildly until the appearance of small cute bubbles. Do not stop until you have reached a smooth consistency. Remove the mixture from the heat and wait till it is not too hot but warm enough to be touched.
  2. Apply a generous amount of flour or powder to your facial hair so that it absorbs all the oils from the skin.
  3. Now use your fingers to evenly spread the solution all over your facial hair. Make sure it is warm but not too hot, so that it does not burn your skin!
  4. Put a cotton strip on your face. Rub gently so as to stick them perfectly on to the skin. Leave the strip till the solution cools. But only for a minute!
  5. Hold the strip firmly and tear it away in the opposite direction. This can be slightly painful but tolerable!

A commonly performed home based facial in brief is stated below! You may also choose from the list of alternative ingredients that are provided in some of the cases!

  1. Cleansing – A mild cleanser is used to cleanse the surface of the skin and then rinsed off with cool water!
  2. Steaming – Steam is applied all over the face for some time.
  3. Exfoliating – Some sugar and honey/ uncooked oats and honey/tomato puree and sugar/aloe vera pulp and sugar/sugar and lime juice (not for sensitive skin) may be used as scrub! Apply a generous amount of the mixture all over the face and massage in circular motions for a few minutes. However scrubbing must be mild and minimum if the skin is prone to acne, pimples and sensitivity!
  4. Massage – A suitable massage cream(in case of dull and dehydrated skin) preferably containing jojoba, avocado, vitamin E or milk enzymes must be used to massage the skin. In case of oily and acne prone skin, an aloe vera gel or a light lotion containing tea tree oil can be used. For normal skin any massaging agent will do. Also natural ingredients like mashed ripe papaya, turmeric and milk cream, saffron and honey etc can be used to massage the skin! It is then left for some so that the skin absorbs it entirely!
  5. Masque or Face Pack – For dry skin, an algae masque or aloe vera masque is very effective. Also a paraffin wax masque is great! For oily skin, a neem and turmeric masque or egg white and honey masque is highly recommended. Well of course, other readymade masques and face packs are available all over! Leave it for a sometime.
  6. Washing – Wash it off with cold water! And pat try.
  7. Rehydrating – Gently apply a soothing cream or lotion according to your skin texture and you’re done!
