Use these guidelines to make your Halloween party a memorable occasion for all your friends and those you love and like. And this will ensure that you have a grand time too.

Date, place and time

The venue of your Halloween Party depends mainly on your parents. It is advised that you throw a party at your home, as your mom and dad can consider it unsafe to hold a bash out of home where they can't keep an eye on you. So discuss with them and decide when and where you want to have the party - inside your home, at the basement, the lawn or a rented function room. Then decide on a time that you think most of your guests can attend.

Halloween PartyInvitations

If you are planning to throw a Halloween party at your home, you need to send in the invites. This will invite those you want to attend your party as well as give them the time to plan ahead. Sit down with any one of your parents and make a list of all those guests you want to invite (and who you think will want to attend your party). This way, you won't leave inviting anyone out. You can either buy or make at home some cool invitation cards yourself. Send out the party invitations with the date, time, location and RSVP written or printed on them. If you plan to send your invitations via mail, make sure that they reach at least a week or two before the party, as most people have a habit of planning their Halloween Eve celebrations in advance. Hand delivery is a good idea to get a quick response.

Decorations

A nice decoration can make your Halloween party an outstanding one for you as well as your guests.
There are so many things that you can do to make your party really spectacular. Purchase lots of black cobweb from the market and place them on the stairs, doorways, windows and furnitures. These look best in the corners of walls. Hang a plastic skeleton from the ceiling of your party zone. Also buy some spooky Halloween place mats that come in a range of styles like Jack-o-lanterns and haunted houses. Place a rubber mouse or snake on the floor. Construct some ghosts by covering some helium balloons with old sheets or white trash bags. Paint or use magic marker to make scary faces on them. Decorate the living room with a few Jack-o-lanterns.

Foods

Food is perhaps, the most important thing of any party. So make sure that you have some nice snacks to serve to your guests at intervals. The recipes should be a bit spooky to go with the mood of your party. Buy special Halloween plates and cups from local party stores. Don't forget to have plenty of ice! If you can, make some cool recipes like Pumpkin Ice Cream and Bloody Devil Dogs by yourself (with some help from mom) and give your friends a treat on this Halloween's Eve.

Party Activities

Get hold of some real scary movies to watch with your friends. Some scary Halloween music should be just great as well to create the mood for your Halloween party. You can get everyone laughing by telling some funny Halloween Jokes. Click here to get some hilarious jokes on Halloween.

Costume
